Storage Shelf by Kevin Chu

Giulia Shelf Storage Shelf by Kevin Chu the giulia shelf was conceived to promote the ideology of "messiness". most storage systems subconsiously guide the user to "organize". the giulia shelf promotes the user to just let go and "dump stuff" into it. by combinning several different diameter steel loops into a singular system, it creates an illusion of uncontrolled geometry where there are no flat surfaces. this "forces" the user to stack his/her "stuff" randomly which also accentuates the confusing aesthetic of the shelf.

Farming and Crop distribution tower by Kevin Chu

Vertical + Horizontal Farm Tower Farming and Crop distribution tower by Kevin Chu The Vertical + Horizontal Farm tower offers a concept on what agriculture will become for the next 50 years. As more and more people migrate to the city and our insatiable appetite increase, the concept of the metropolis vertical farm has to be considered and realized sooner then we think. Using London as the base city for the tower, the V + H tower utilize the next generation of sustainable energy technology to supply local population with low cost and high quality crops.

Solar Power Generator and Shading System by Kevin Chu

TWISTY Solar Power Generator and Shading System by Kevin Chu Twisty is an evolution for solar power generation as well as shading system. No longer do one needs to install solar panels as Twisty's fabric is a photovoltaic cell itself. During the day it shades you from the sun while at night it give you light in your own home. It is entirely windproof as when it opens progressively, the helix structure becomes stronger and stronger. Interactive Exhibition Pavilion by Kevin Chu

AIRnemone Interactive Exhibition Pavilion by Kevin Chu The design was inspired by watching Pixar's Finding Nemo. The concept wants all of you to become a clown fish and the design as a big sea anemone. It is a pavilion that moves with air or any human intervention while also having no set boundaries and predefined shape. Air is the most vital element for any biological entity and it wants to remind us our action is always correlated to our environment's atmosphere. All materials in the design are recyclable and can be reinstalled in various compositions. Come interact with AIRnemone, big and small kids!!

Environment Cleansing Floorlamp by Kevin Chu

Foglia Environment Cleansing Floorlamp by Kevin Chu Photocatalysis is process that uses nano-particle that when activated by any light source and air it can clean the environment of toxins such as nitrogen dioxide and volatile compounds arsing from construction site while also possess a deodorizing effect and is completely non toxic to humans. The lamp is made made from stainless steel and treated with this technology. During the day it uses natural daylight to clean your environment and during the night the LED light continues the process. There are a series of screens that can be magnetically attached onto the openings of the lamp.

Environment Cleansing Lighting System by Kevin Chu

SPINE Environment Cleansing Lighting System by Kevin Chu The initial manifesto was to create the most flexible and adaptable lamp on the market. We also incorporated our unique air cleaning technology into the design and aim for this lamp to be relatively low cost and easy to use. Mobility is the key as it will attain IP67 waterproof rating and attachable to any magnetic surfaces. We do not want to “pre-formed” the design into a specific geometry but make the user becomes the creator. We believe all of us contains has a hidden artistic talent!!! The design can be bent, curved and hung to adapt to any interior or exterior.

Environment Cleansing Lamp by Kevin Chu

GUILIN Environment Cleansing Lamp by Kevin Chu Inspired the by beautiful cascading mountains of Guilin in China, the lamp is composed of a base that has 3 equal length slots allowing for Photocatalytic treated acrylic mountains to be placed in random as the user wishes. These mountains can be taken out easily and compose entirely based on the user. Just like the mountains, they are helping to rejuvenate our environment and remind us on how we are intertwined with nature.

100% Recycled Pavilion Design by Kevin Chu

The global population has degraded the planet with unconsidered wastage and this design is trying to initiate a more considerate thinking in the design industry.

Photocatalytic Floorlamp by Kevin Chu

Foglia Photocatalytic Floorlamp by Kevin Chu Foglia was an inspiration taken form nature where sunlight activates photosynthesis. During the day when Foglia is placed near any visible light it will work to cleanse the environment through the process of photocatalysis while during the night when the light is switched on, the cleansing action continues. Harmful elements such as Carbon Dioxide, Formaldehyde, Nitrogen Oxide as well as odors are eliminated by photocatalysis. The Lamp is also designed with magnetic screens that can customized its aesthetics infinitely.
