The Bird from Paradise Wooden Sculpture by Mohamad ali Vadood The bird from Paradise is a figurative design of a Peacock and tried to keep its form unlike the geometric limitation for practising different type of artworks together. To make this happen, I put together 7 traditional Iranian arts like Muqarnas, Marquetry (Moaraq), Munabat, etc. among which specific attention was paid to Muqarnas by inventing a new method called 'Leveled Muqarnas'. Muqarnas is on its way to extinction because of its specific use for religious architectural designs and I hope this method help to revive it.

Forest Heart Wood Picture by Mohamad ali Vadood Forest Heart is a project-like work in Naqshbandi, a method of doing marquetry claiming to be the implementation of a new period in this wood art's history. Initially, it depicts the figure of a bird, each piece of its body from the wood of a forest tree. The remarkable point, however, is not only keeping original colors of woods, as it is typically done in all marquetry works, it also saves patterns, light shade-waves, and textures. A world of startling discoveries each piece has with even a magnifier look, so its viewers can spot woods' natural fortuities.

Vessel by Mohamad ali Vadood

One Thousand and One Nights Vessel by Mohamad ali Vadood One Thousand and One Nights is the idea of making wooden utensils and structures by using scraps of small to large from various trees which have beautiful natural colors and eye-catching patterns. Warm colors of woods and thousands of pieces with different shapes remind its viewer the atmosphere of Orientalist paintings and the stories of the One Thousand and One Nights. In this design, pieces of wood from hundreds of different trees that once together formed a living plant are reunited to build up a symbolic body, bearing the diversity of tree species in a forest.
